The recognized championship lineage begins with the 2019 Founders’ Final. Modern Gasm Score and Gasm Index standards begin in 2024. The IBGF arrives in 2026 and inherits the recognized record book through the Lausanne Continuity Clause rather than pretending the previous seven seasons did not happen.
The current international tour includes 64 competitors from a licensed registry of 146 across 41 sanctioned territories. Twenty-four qualify for the World Finals. One leaves with the Golden Grin. Nobody qualifies by world ranking alone.
Competition is divided into Power, Endurance, Control, Freestyle, Extreme and Speed. A single scored performance receives a Gasm Score. Rolling competitive strength produces a Gasm Index. A verified completion point is a Fin. These are different numbers and the broadcast desk has been asked to act accordingly.
BATTLEGASM: Road to the Golden Grin joins the existing 2026 tour at the Pacific Rim. Cameras roll coming soon. Premiere TBD. The show has a Season One. The sport does not.

All competitors are adults. Every sanctioned Battle remains subject to consent, medical, equipment and integrity standards. Event physicians can stop competition. Sponsors cannot overrule them. Broadcasters have tried nothing and deny considering it.
